Kenneth John Ready

Kenneth J. Ready, a member of the New York State Bars, founded the law firm in 1989 after graduating from St. John’s Law School in 1984. Mr. Ready handles significant cases involving construction accidents, medical/hospital malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, falls from dangerous conditions and other serious injury cases for the firm.

Mr. Ready is highly respected for his successful career in the courtroom. He and his firm frequently are retained by fellow attorneys to serve as trial counsel on important cases. Over the years, Mr. Ready has served as a lecturer on trial tactics for the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, St. John’s University School of Law, the Nassau County Bar Association. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and served as the Chair of the Plaintiff’s Round Table for the Nassau County Bar Association. He has tried cases throughout the New York metropolitan area. His reputation for excellence has been built on successes in tough cases in some of the toughest counties in the downstate area. He has dozens of million dollar verdicts and settlement in cases in which no surgery was performed. These verdicts include a $5,000,000 settlement in Nassau County of a back injury cases after one week on trial; a $4,000,000 closed head injury settlement in Queens County after two weeks on trial; a $20,000,000 million dollar verdict and $6,500,000 settlement of a construction site accident in New York County; a $2,250,000 settlement of a closed head injury case in Suffolk County after two weeks on trial and multiple million dollar verdicts and settlements in Kings and Bronx Counties. Many of these verdicts and settlement were produced on cases tried for other attorneys who had been unable to secure a settlement without Mr. Ready’s involvement.
