I had contacted Mona with an administrative decision that pertained to the area of ethics. She subsequently explained she could not represent me. Mona represented me in my divorce and she was excellent. She explained everything and gave me great advice to focus on the goal of getting myself out of my dreadful and marriage and not get caught up in the inbetween nonsense as it would cost more and take longer. Her advice worked. Divorce is a very... challenging event in someone’s life I can’t imagine how hard it is dealing with it on the other side.

I called and left a voicemail with her office to make an appointment for a consultation for a child custody case without knowing that my ex had already consulted with her but had not retained her. she called my abusive ex and told him I was looking to make an appointment with her. Needless to say, he... went ballistic and started harassing me bc of her. I called the office looking for an explanation and they said they had to disclose to him that I wanted a consultation. That is highly unethical and illegal considering he had not retained her. They started to apologize but the damage was done. Mona then called my ex and started yelling and cursing at him bc he compromised her office. Um no Mona, your highly unethical behavior compromised your office. Do yourselves a favor and stay away from her. Other lawyers i spoke to after told me she should be disbarred.
