I was scared, nervous, and even a little ashamed to file for bankruptcy. From our first conversation, Mr. Silver was straightforward, knowledgeable, and no-nonsense (in the best way possible). He answered all of my questions, no matter how big or small, and guided me through each step of the process,... including preparing me thoroughly for my hearing. If you’re looking for someone to sugarcoat things or offer small talk, Mr. Silver may not be your style. But if you want someone who will get the job done with clarity and competence, he’s exactly who you want on your side. I’m so thankful to have found him. He helped lift a huge weight off my shoulders, and I will confidently recommend him to family and friends.

After 5 years of court & a dozen lawyers, I was forced to endure Mr. Sliver's "representation". If he had been the only lawyer available to me, I would have undoubtedly suffered significant losses. While he may have had some expertise in bankruptcy matters, his skills in family court were abysmal.... His unprofessionalism was foreshadowed by his 1st correspondence with the defendant's lawyers, describing me in the most dismissive manner: "Mr. Client talks a lot." Such derogatory remarks were not only uncalled for but also revealed his lack of respect for his own clients. My complex international case, which involved numerous violations of the custody agreement, required meticulous attention to detail. However, this lawyer displayed disinterest and arrogance from the very beginning, only to showcase his incompetence and insecurity in court. I couldn't help but question whether he was lazy, cowardly, or both. It remains a mystery why he even agreed to take on this case, as his actions seemed solely focused on creating constant disputes and protecting the interests of the opposing party. My experience with other lawyers and my understanding of the law made it clear that his excuses for not performing his duties were baseless. In fact, it would have been easier to navigate the court proceedings without him altogether. I sincerely hope that no one ever has to endure his representation in family court. He is worse than useless; he has the ability to ruin everything. He also threatened to file a lawsuit against my wife after she posted a review. Ironically, that would be the legal motion he would have filed having anything to do with me. Negative 5 stars. Far worse than any experience I had with opposing attorneys.

It is so hard to trust people, let alone lawyers! I fully vouch for Jacob Silver. From beginning to end of my bankruptcy, every step was accurately on point. I would definitely advise anyone to use him for any need. He is honest, and will direct you to the person who can best help you. If not hi...mself.
