This attorney showed zero respect for me and my wishes. He was impossible to communicate with, and in the minimal communication i received, there was zero indication he understood my concerns, let alone processed and chose to act upon them. The work he did was bare bones and despite paying him a flat... fee for the work he was supposed to do , wound up having to hire another attorney due to his negligent handling of my case . I cannot attest to how he handles cases in court but his handling of me as a client could not have been more unprofessional and disrespectful.

Im tied between 1 or two stars but i'll give him 2 stars because he ultimately won my case. My main complaint about this attorney is he avoided MOST of my calls and text messages. Speaking to him was almost impossible. It was so bad that a detective told me she left him 3 voicemail messages and he n...ever returned her calls. It was frustrating. He came to court a FEW times extremely late and had an excuses which appeared to be a lie. One time he told me he was late due to a car accident. Another time he came to court after lunch and he told me he was in the district attorney's office having a discussion about the case. I checked the ADA office to find out he was never there, and he never signed the lawyers book. To his credit, he won my domestic violence case at trail. He was actually pretty good at interrogating the witness. However, he never subpoenaed my telephone records or retrieved Facebook info in time for trail (which would have proved my innocents immediately and possibly avoided ever going to trial). He failed to provide documented evidence where the witness had previously lied under oath. Those details would of won my bench trail case with no doubts, but waiting two days for a veridic was worrisome because it came down to her word vs mine. (it shouldn't of been that way due to all the evidence i had). I believed I won trail because the witness was an obvious liar. In addition, his knowledge of extradition law was limited. He told me if I were to sign an governors warrant wavier that the state of Florida had 3 days to pick me up. That information was far from true. Essentially, I felt like he didn't care about my case. Not responding to my phone calls or text messages was just unacceptable. And for those reasons I would not recommend this lawyer.

Michael is a fantastic attorney, one of the best that I've worked with. Not to mention, that he's qualified for cases even at the federal level. I retained him in services regarding a life insurance policy, and I don't regret it at all. His office is located in a prime location, with helpful and frie...ndly staff, which only attests to his availability to his clients-both inside and outside of the office. He made himself readily available, and was speedy in all responses with every correspondence that we exchanged. His professionalism is unmatched, but also, his humor and humanity which make him not only a great attorney to work with, but also a great person.

Michael provided such amazing help to me in two very different situations. First I was given an absurd ticket for biking on the sidewalk (in an area with no bike lanes and tons of traffic) and he went to court for me and dealt with it. Second, when my partner was in a very bad accident (hit by a car ...while walking) he provided help immediately, coming to the hospital and guiding us in the arduous process of filing the paperwork to settle with the driver of the vehicle. Michael is so kind, efficient, professional and creative! Grateful for the work he does.
