Julia is very unprofessional. Julia’s lack of knowledge and understanding of the US immigration law unfortunately cost me my green card. The document of denial from immigration cited her mistake as being the reason for the loss of my case. When I asked her to refund my money ($8,000) due to her error... she said “I can only open a new case which we can request a visa for political reasons”. This is therefore advice to open a fake case because I am not running from the politics on my country, I therefore denied this advice. Julia is unreliable. When I had my first interview with US immigration, Julia was late by 1.5 hours!!! We had an appointment at 7 am and she didn’t turn up until 8.30 am. She also frequently missed important deadlines for requests for information by US immigration. In one instance, she was overdue to respond by 2 months, with US immigration sending a letter to say that they would cancel my case without an immediate response. Her staff will never answer your emails. You will have to send multiple emails and call multiple times a day for her to respond and talk to you.

I used my family recommendations to come to Julia Lowenfeld's Law Office. I was applying for a 10-year green card after getting married and getting my temporary green card. I wasn't dissapointed with the service! Everything was explained in details, and all the documents were filed in a timely manner.... Just got my new green card and will recommend this office to anyone with immigration cases!

Julia was a God-send for my case!!! She was thorough and articulate in gathering information and representing the best interests of me and my mother in a very touchy case. I was witness to her high level of integrity and tenacity during my trial and I was moved to tears by her closing statements beca...use of how aptly she conveyed to the judge what was of highest importance to me in regards to outcome !!!!! She is very busy, and in high demand, but well worth it!!!

I came to Julia 3 years ago to get an advise on how to proceed regarding the family reunion situation. She wrongly advised me that if i file for my parents my sister would come on the same application with them(which i learn it was impossible from other lawyers later on). She accepted the payment in ...advance and filed the paperwork for them. The papers came back defective and she had to refile the application again. She never picked up the phone on my phone calls and only her assistance telling you that she is always busy. It was a very time sensitive case and this firm never cared. I had to call them 2 month every week and have the papers filed and tell them which papers were missing. At the end i had to file one of the forms myself, because i was told by their office and i wasn't the priority and this form will take them at least 3 weeks to do( i did it myself within 2 hours). My parents mailed them the documents and this firm lost them and told me that they never received it(which was not true since i confirmed with them that they received them). They always lie on the phone regarding the status of your case. I basically did the family reunion for my family on my own. I cannot image those people who are not good in English and paperwork and really need help. Then she was handling the divorce matter for me and it was the same story. They filed papers which came back as defective. They never informed me and i had to fire another lawyer to go to the court with me and check on my status. They lied to me that everything is good and i just need to wait when the papers were defective and it took them 5 months to refile it. The second time the papers came back defective again( the signatures was not notarized, the data was missing and the calculation where wrong for the second time). I had to go to the court myself and get the comments and it was said that if the paperwork would be filed incorrectly again they would have to dismiss my case ( i have an uncontested divorce). its been almost 2 years since i went to this office to file for it. I paid $2,,500 for it at the beginning and dont know what to do know. fire this lawyer and pay another one to file the papers correctly or take a last chance and my case maybe would be dismissed and i have to wait another year to file it again. I was hanged up on the phone, told that i need to get a coffee and would call you back.... I would never image that you can get that type of service from the lawyer.
