If USCIS is missing something, trust me, they will let you know.
Why did i get a rejection notice on a form I-797c ? it says to refer to accompanying notice form m-180 for further info.

We would not know it. When the package is rejected, USCIS usually provides an explanation for it.

I bet you your asylum case is pending. If you moved, you have to file form AR11. The only real way to check on asylum case is to go to the asylum...

You might have proceed without him, based on the waiver for the joint filing. You should consutl with an attorney to see what options you have.

You should not be extending your passport since it is like you are asking the country of persecution to protect you...

You should send a letter to asylum officer informing them that you are withdrawing your case. You can depart at any time.
