You should have no issues receiving asylum with a traffic ticket.

The joint account might mean that 50% of the money belongs to you... A gift, is completely your property. You should speak with an attorney.

An E visa is not available to everybody.Even if somehow you would be able to apply for it, $50K might not be enough.
