It is a temporary extension while USCIS is considering your petition. It is not an approval of your I 751.
I received my Green card through Asylum Approval.
card issue date 03/30/2013 (resident since that date)

You take the date on your card plus 4 years and 9 months. Provided you meet all other requirements, of course. You really speak with your attorney...
