Biography
Asher Taub was born, raised and still lives in Queens. His father was a holocaust survivor from Hungary. His father was born at the onset of World War II and was an inmate at the tender age of 5 in the Nazi family Work camp, Thereisenstadt. He came to the United States as a teenager and was a factory worker until an accident forced him to retire. Seeing the inequities & uncaring manner in which his father was treated after being severely injured in a car accident, spurred Asher to become a lawyer. He wanted to insure that no other person should suffer as his father had.
His mother was born & raised in Cali,Columbia & came to the United States in 1963. He is married and has five children & 3 grandchildren. He graduated Cum Laude from St. John’s University Law School in 1995. He is also fluent in Spanish. His emphasis in practice is negligence & personal injury law. His understanding of a accident victims plight & determination to protect them from powerful insurance companies who desire to deprive them of full compensation for their injuries makes him an effective advocate. Asher has successfully represented thousands of injured victims. He has the thorough legal knowledge, proven trial experience & effective negotiation skills that provide successful outcomes on his clients behalf.
He was one of the founding members of the NYPD Clergy Liaison program.
