Bharati Narumanchi

1st arrest. I was charged with DWAI, common law DWI, and reckless driving. Despite being stopped at a checkpoint and having a BAC of .07%, which suggests that both the reckless and DWI would likely be dismissed if I took it to trial, Ms. Narumanchi ineptly tried to convince me to accept a plea to t...he DWAI - the only thing left to actually fight! Furthermore, she scheduled my court date 2 months after my first hearing: even the judge questioned why so late on record. Either she is too busy or too lazy but taking on cases and then abandoning her clients is her method. I sent her 2 emails within 23 days of no communication. I suppose keeping me informed seemed to be such an outrageous request that she dropped me as a client. Lesson learned: Free legal aid means no legal aid. You get what you pay for.
