After leaving the following review on Yelp...Irena responded to it. I had no complaints with Irena only Renata. She was abrasive, dismissive and irritated. Of course, that cannot be reconstructed here. Thus future clients will have to make their own decision. But I felt it essential to give this rev...iew: I was originally referred to Renata Landskind when she worked with Lou Karol at Karol Sosnik, and I’ve been a client since 2018. Despite that history, arranging a recent appointment was surprisingly difficult—it took more than a week of follow-up. When we finally did schedule a call, no one contacted me until 20 minutes after the appointed time. While delays happen, what I found troubling was the complete lack of communication, especially after receiving four email reminders and a voicemail stressing the importance of punctuality on my end. When I called the office during the delay, I reached a virtual receptionist who had no way of contacting anyone directly. By the time I did speak with Ms. Landskind, the tone of the call felt strained. I expressed my frustration, and she seemed irritated rather than understanding. When I pointed this out, she replied, “I already apologized. I’m not going to apologize ten times.” That response felt dismissive and left no room for a productive conversation. Over the years, I’ve recommended this firm to others, and I now regret doing so. The professionalism, courtesy, and care I once associated with the office no longer seem present. While estate planning may not be an emergency service, it is still deeply personal work that requires sensitivity, accountability, and basic respect for clients’ time and trust. I will be seeking legal services elsewhere and plan to submit a formal complaint to the New York Bar Association. I also encourage prospective clients to take the time to read a range of experiences—not just the glowing reviews—before making a decision.

She advised on legal issues as well as tax and obviously real estate issues . She was very attentive to... our concerns and utilized emails, text and phone to keep us informed of the negotiations.
