Based on my personal experience, I do not recommend Vernita Charles. I did not feel like she was advocating for me and she failed to complete even basic requests—such as providing an invoice so I could understand the status of my retainer, or bcc’ing me on all communications with the petitioner as I ...had asked. I had no idea what they were discussing and she never filled me in although I was the one footing the bill. She seemed more concerned with handling things her own way rather than collaborating or listening. It often felt like she expected me to simply follow her lead without input or questions, regardless of my perspective or concerns. I wish I could get a refund.
