Hari Nathan Kalyan

Hari advises clients on a broad range of legal matters, including corporate and commercial transactions, business licensing, administrative and regulatory compliance, real estate, land use and zoning, and commercial litigation. Hari also has a comprehensive technical understanding of how to navigate various State and Federal regulatory agencies, municipal governments and local community organizations across multiple jurisdictions.  Hari maintains offices in both Austin and Brooklyn in order to provide over 100 high-growth clients in the hospitality, retail, real estate and technology industrirs, as well as clients within the cannabis industry ecosystem, with high-quality, cost-effective legal services to help them successfully realize their business objectives.  

Hari is a seasoned hospitality operator and a recognized leader in the NYC hospitality industry as CoFounder of Randolph Group (which owns and operates Randolph Beer brewpubs) and as a partner in a number of other hospitality establishments. Since 2014, Hari has served as general counsel to Bluestone Lane, playing an active role in their rapid development from one coffee kiosk to currently over 30 full-service cafe and coffee shop locations nationwide. Hari also advises creatives - such as songwriters, artists, filmmakers, talent managers and production companies - and has served as a producer on various theater and film projects.

Prior to entering private practice, Hari clerked for the Honorable Nelson S. Roman, who currently sits in the United States District Court, Southern District of New York. Hari actively commits his time to public service as a volunteer attorney with Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas and the NYC Housing Court, among other pro bono and charitable activities.
