Beware

I hired Mr. Stern . He never returned calls and yelled when I finally got in touch with him. He is extremely unprofessional and did not meet deadlines

Worst lawyer you can get!

THis attorney is one of the most unprofessional attorneys out there! Really! He does not and is not willing to listen to the other side. When I say " listen" I don't mean obey, I mean listen to what they are saying, so that your head is not in the sand when it comes to strategy! Sometimes he figh...ts a battle that is in his head, as opposed to the real battle. It makes no sense to swing at the air, it makes more sense to swing at the actual person. Listening is the key to any good lawyer, if you dont know the facts, then you are making dumb arguments about something that doesn't even exist... Please , avoid this attorney at all costs!

Disrespectful to Clients

The paralegal did all the court appearances. She did not provide enough support for the client that she was representing. When asked for clarification she get irritated easily and started shouting aloud on the phone. She claims she called the other party's lawyer. There was no evidence of that. ...At the end she was not able to get any fair resolution of the matter. Lost thousands of dollars.

Very trustworthy and great follow through

We used him for a tenant landlord issue where we were going to be illegally evicted and he won the case for us and worked very hard on it.

Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education

  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
