This was a catastrophic trucking crash where minivan spun out of control into the path of a tractor trailer, killing 3 children, leaving one child with permanent injuries and a mother with the loss of ... a limb. The driver of the minivan had no insurance. The truck driver was cleared by the Illinois state highway patrol as they determined he was not liable for the crash. Our accident reconstruction team was able to reconstruct the crash, and discovered the truck was traveling nearly 20 mph over the posted speed limit, and had the trucker not been speeding, the crash would not have occurred.

A trucker hit and killed a local St. Louis lawyer who was merging from the shoulder onto Highway 70. We represented the lawyers' minor son. The Missouri Highway Patrol indicated the motorcyclist was 10 ... 0% at-fault. Our forensic team inspected the truck and determined the crash was avoidable. In addition, we recovered cell phone logs which indicated the trucker was texting at the time of the crash in violation of federal motor carrier regulations and Missouri law. All this information was overlooked by the Highway Patrol, which resulted in a policy limit settlement for our client.

Mr. King crossed over the center line and hit a mother and her two minor children. Mr. King only had minimum limits of insurance under Louisiana law. Under the current status of Missouri law, Mr. King ... was an uninsured motorist, yet Shelter, the Adams' insurance company refused to pay the amounts due to the family, stating they were only responsible for paying $30,000 (the difference between Mr. King's limits and Missouri's required limits of $50,000). I found an ambiguity in the policy and argued Shelter owed the Adams $225,000. This case was appealed 3 separate times for various reasons, and we won every time, and make new Missouri law on this issue.

Our client's wife was run over and killed by an 18 wheeler in the parking lot of a truck stop. The truck driver denied he hit her and denied our client's claim. Our emergency response trucking team of ... forensic scientists were immediately flown via private plane to Wisconsin (where the truck was driven after the incident) for an inspection. Our team was able to link up evidence from the woman's body to the truck, despite the fact the truck company hid evidence, including cleaning the truck and changing its tires.
