After I paid my $5k retainer, I asked him to file the motion. He told me he would file the motion when he gets another $1750. This was only 3 months in and t...wo hearings. I had at least $4500 left of my retainer. It Turns out he never kept track of billing because this was not the only time. I asked him for an itemized bill with dates, and he never gave it to me. Over a year later, I do not have it. Not only that, but his paralegal gave me a bill for over $10k and CHARGED ME FOR APPEARANCES; MY OTHER LAWYER MADE 7, to be exact. She rounded all the 15 min hearings (including the ones he did not attend) to 1 hour each. I have been overcharged thousands on a made-up bill; nothing was filed, he was incredibly nasty and condescending (proven by recordings), canceled on me for 23 straight business days.
