Ellen Flowers accepted a retainer fee from me to help with the process to discharge me as a court ordered guardian once my mother passed. Only a return receipt from the her office let me know that they received the information requested to begin doing the necessary work to free me from guardianship. In over 5 months, nothing was done, her paralegal mislead me, stating that the judge is very careful in reviewing papers to release one as a guardian. In contacting the court clerk the court never received any papers for review. Because nothing was done for over 5 months and the information given to me by Ms Flower's paralegal was untrue, I hired another lawyer to help me with the forms necessary to discharge me from my guardianship duties. The retainer fee was never returned to me.

Ellen is an excellent attorney who is extremely receptive and knowledgeable. She took my case on Friday and we were in court on Wednesday and she was great!! Ellen is quiet but powerful! And well respected by the court! Thanks!
