Biography
Jeffrey D. Buss heads the Litigation Department and the Energy Practice Group at Smith, Buss & Jacobs. Mr. Buss has successfully tried numerous jury and non-jury trials before the State and Federal Courts, and successfully drafted and argued appeals before the Appellate Divisions for the First, Second and Third Departments, the New York State Court of Appeals, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Mr. Buss is currently General Counsel for Coop City, the largest residential cooperative in the United States with more than 55,000 residents, and General Counsel for the Vostecs Corporation, a multinational energy and water services corporation. Mr. Buss is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel and a former Reginald H. Smith Fellow, and has been recognized as a superlawyer by his peers at superlawyers.com.

Jeff Buss is a Great Lawyer
Mr. Buss is probably the Lawyer that Lawyers go to when they have a commercial or regulatory problem. Buss listens, is contemplative, acts decisively and makes it clear he is not in it to sell hours.
