Larry was efficient and no nonsense kind of divorce lawyer. He actively listened to me and then was open and honest with my options, outcomes, etc. He got me divorced as quickly as he could and helped me every step of the way. I’m not sure with the fees as this was my first divorce so, I can’t compa...re. It was costly! However, worth it because he got me divorced and was supportive and open and honest through the whole process. I also appreciated him getting to the point and not dragging anything out. He gets the job done and does it honestly and professionally. I will forever be grateful for him and I’m glad I chose him to be my divorce lawyer.

Larry supported and defended me throughout an (ongoing) parental-alienation divorce. He is knows the law and court procedure well, articulates my position strongly and clearly, and is well respected by his colleagues and the bench. Having been around divorce attorneys more than to my liking, it i...s striking to me how honest Larry is, not only in respect of the court, but, more importantly, with his clients. Too often I've seen attorneys tell their clients what they want to hear, getting their hopes us, pocketing sizeable retainers, overstaffing the cases, rapidly depleting the retainers, and not delivering results commensurate with the heightened expectations. In my case, I came to Larry after I had made a number of significant mistakes while being represented by prior counsel, who did not provide me with the advice I needed at the time. Although I was fighting an uphill battle (primarily to regain a relationship with my alienated children), Larry did not sugar coat my situation, but gave me an honest assessment of the challenges we faced and worked hard to improve my situation. If I had engaged Larry at the outset, I would have avoided a lot of emotional pain and unnecessary expense. I went into my divorce thinking it was going to be amicable enough, but was blind-sided by my ex-spouse and her aggressive counsel. If you are up against a moneyed and/or hostile spouse, you would be well-advised to engage Larry as your first and only attorney.

My experience with Larry was disappointing. My husband and I had the ability to divide our assets amicably which meant less billable hours for him. The agreement needed many revisions due to spelling errors and incorrect use of pronouns. My final bill was substantial after the retainer was exhaus...ted not due to his hours involved negotiating in my interest but rather corrects to his errors. I hope his office has since downloaded spellcheck.
