Gregory John Skiff

Greg’s practice focuses on litigation in the areas of construction, real estate, corporate, commercial and labor and employment law. His involvement in these areas includes representing clients both as plaintiffs and defendants, litigation strategy, researching and articulating claims and defenses, settlement discussions, drafting pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and appearing on behalf of clients at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials. Greg’s goal is to bring a practical, efficient and business-sense approach to litigation, providing his clients with speedy results and above all else, closure.

Aside from state and federal litigation, Greg also represents candidates for admission to the Bar before the New Jersey Board of Admissions to the Bar and the New York State Committee on Character and Fitness. To that end, he counsels and advocates on behalf of candidates during the character review process.

In addition to the practice of law, Greg volunteers for Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA) in Hudson County, New Jersey. There, he is a member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Volunteers Committee. In addition, Greg is himself a volunteer advocate for a teenage foster child who struggles with significant mental and emotional challenges.

Greg received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Ithaca College and a J.D. from the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University. Further, while he attended Ithaca College, he was named to the 2004 NCAA Scholar All-American Wrestling Team at 149 lbs.
