David Ian Tomack

David I. Tomack is a premier attorney in the field of New York Workers' Compensation, with a storied history of success in representing injured workers, as recognized by being a SuperLawyers Rising Star for the past three years and continuing.

Mr. Tomack earned his B.A. in Philosophy (with a minor in Political Science) at Hofstra University, and then attended the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. During his time at Hofstra Law, Mr. Tomack specialized in mediation, and studied under Professor Robert A. Baruch Bush—one of the originators of the Transformative Mediation approach. He graduated in the top 1/3 of his class from Hofstra Law in 2016, receiving the prestigious Citation of Excellence in Tort Law Award. Mr. Tomack was admitted to practice law in New York State in 2017.

Prior to his current role specializing in New York Workers' Compensation Law at Rella & Associates, P.C., Mr. Tomack worked at several personal injury law firms before determining that Workers’ Compensation and SSD law was the path he wanted to follow. From his time at these firms, he gained valuable legal skills that contribute greatly to his current work.

Mr. Tomack has succeeded as an expert in the field of New York Workers' Compensation Law as a respected litigator; zealously representing injured workers and their interests. He is currently a Senior Associate Attorney, where he handles multiple hearings, trials, depositions, and appeals on a daily basis.
