negligence, irresponsibility, and excessive delays

**Worst Attorney Ever” On December 10, 2024, I contacted attorney Laura from this firm regarding legal violations occurring at my workplace by a “boss.” She told me she would take my case and advised me not to sign any agreement that my employer was offering to keep me quiet, saying it was best to w...ait. I followed her advice, but the problems at work continued for several days. On December 12, I sent her all the evidence—messages, recordings, and documents—related to the workplace violations. She said she would take the case and, if no negotiation was reached, she would take it to court. However, she took days to respond. By December 23, she sent internal demand letters to the company and the individuals involved, giving them a month to respond. She gave them multiple opportunities to communicate and respond. They responded with lies, fabrications, and even used my personal information against me to support their false claims and violations of my rights. By February 21, after more than two months, she was still giving them chances to negotiate. On February 6, 2025, the company sent falsified Excel sheets accusing me of alleged fraud. She called me—without anything in writing—stating that these people were threatening me and demanding a response. I insisted that their claims were false and that we should proceed to court as originally planned. Through ongoing manipulation and delays, it appears the attorney may have reached a small, internal settlement with the company without my knowledge. Due to her negligence, irresponsibility, and excessive delays—over three months before moving the case to court—the company had ample time to prepare a counterclaim. By March 20, 2025, she effectively washed her hands of my case, sending me a mediocre letter stating she was unprepared to defend me and assigning an immigration attorney (completely unrelated to my case) along with other inexperienced attorneys to handle the company’s fabricated counterclaims. Do not hire this law firm. This was a major disappointment. Their strategy seems to prioritize internal agreements with companies over representing and protecting their clients. I have to mention that the attorney she was dealing with is specialized in REAL STATE. If she confirmed she is not specialized in the area then why is offering services ?

I am sorry to read that you were disappointed by my work as your attorney. Because attorneys are bound by strict rules of ethics and confidentiality, I cannot respond publicly to the allegations in this post. What I can say is that I take my ethical and professional obligations very seriously. This includes the duty to be honest with clients, provide candid advice, and withdraw when continuing representation would not be appropriate. I remain committed to advocating vigorously within the bounds of the law for every person that I represent.
