For almost 10 yrs, I have hired Mr.Maher to handle various types of cases for myself and others. Not only was he timely and professional, he handled things with caring and understanding. I have always been able to count on him for legal matters as well as legal advice. My experience with Mr.Maher has... been very welcoming. His office is very inviting and staff was very pleasant and welcoming upon walking in the door. He handles every case with love and care for the client. Mr.Maher is a stand up guy, inside and outside of the office. I would personally recommend him to anyone in need of legal council. To touch base on him also being a legal aid lawyer, I had him as a legal aid lawyer as well as hiring him and all the same, he continued to maintain that happy, caring, dilligent manner as if you’d retained him. I will continue to retain Mr.Maher for my every legal service need. He is for the people. I’ve seen a few clients give bad reviews saying he is all about the money. Definetly not the case at all. This is his profession, of course he will take your money! Lol. I have never experienced any type of unprofessional behavior from Me.Maher or his employees. Keep doing the great work you do for us, the People!

I hired Mr. Maher to assist me with a visitation issue in family court. He was recommended by another attorney because has practiced in Putnam County for over 30 years. He is experienced in the legal system and is there for you when you need him. I know this because I call and email with questions co...nstantly and he always does what he can to facilitate what I need. If you need someone experienced who knows the system, give him a call. Despite what the previous review stated, he never asks me for money unless I bring it up. If you can't afford a real attorney, request legal aid. They have to get paid just like you and I do. I know Chris has my back and he's touch....he won't tolerate negative BS, harassment or bullying. If you want someone to stand up for you, he's your guy.
