Matthew John Keating

I hired Matthew in July to respond to my spouse filing for a divorce. $10,000 retainer to hire. I explained to him how my spouse wanted me to have the properties and not to split the pensions/retirement contrary to ny state law what he is entitled to. Matthew was only interested in Basics which was... giving my spouse half of everything even if my spouse didn't want it, sticking to ny state law but not the spouses request. He is not a fighter just interested in completing the divorce proceeding on its basic level. In the end, without Matthew as I went pro se, I was able to keep my pension and the properties as I had initially informed him. If you have properties and a large pension, do not hire him. He is not going to fight for it. Maybe he a good attorney for no property low pension clients but I wasn't one of those. He was also too expensive to not
