Terrible attorney. Yelled at us because we didn't agree with what she wanted to do. She had no intention of representing our interests, only her own. Extremely unprofessional and unethical. She had no ability to listen and kept talking about "the numbers" which were completely inaccurate, then told u...s we never gave her our tax returns which we had given her two weeks previous to our court date.

Kathleen handled my divorce. She cursed me out and hung up on me for speaking to my ex husband to amicably resolve matters. She drafted my separation and settlement agreement and I had to ask her literally 6 times to fix errors such as the spelling of my name, and my children's names and dates of b...irth. I actually ended up firing her and finishing my divorce myself. The court clerk advised that I should file a grievance against her and try to recoup fees. She also charged me for conversations we never had and e-mails she never sent. I was appalled. She also negelected to file required paperwork with the Court.

Kathleen Valletta is by far the best family law attorney in Westchester and Putnam counties. Kathleen will really take the time to hear and understand your concerns. Ms Valletta is a pitbull in the court room and will fight for what is best for you and your family. I can't say enough good things a...bout this women...and no we are not related! I have had several attorneys before I met Kathleen...my only regret is that i didn't meet her sooner.
