Farva Jafri

I was assigned Ms. Jafri thru a third party company to represent me for a series of moving violations. Thru the course of 8 months, Farva was impossible to reach or get in contact with. She gave me phone numbers which would lead to a third party answering service in Florida. A simple task of trying t...o speak with her would take several attempts and days. She did not conduct her due diligence in handling my case. She did not seem experienced in the matter at all, and instead of admitting her inexperience, she proceeded to complicate my case further instead of helping. I understand that things are complicated during the Covid 19 pandemic, but it is not so hard to contact your client when in need. My case was preponed to an earlier date than Farva had mentioned by several months. When I contacted her about the matter, she told me that she will speak with the court and let me know by the end of the week as to whether my presence was necessary. Instead, I got a notice from the initial company who assigned her to me, that she is “unavailable”. She dropped herself from the case 3 weeks prior to my court date. This has left me in a bind, scrambling to find an attorney last minute. She not only screwed up my case, but also made a major inconvenience to me at the last minute. She is unprofessional as an attorney. Till now she has not even given the courtesy of a phone call to advise me as to why she has done this. It wasn’t a surprise when I contacted other lawyers regarding me case; many of the lawyers informed me that they have heard of Farva dropping her clients once she finds out that the case is going to trial. She is a miserable excuse for an attorney.
