If you are in a domestic violence situation and need a lawyer do not use Aubrey. I told him and his legal team my DV marriage situation. He did absolutely nothing to help me and charged me $2500. I am completing the divorce myself because 14 months later his paperwork is wrong and it’s probably becau...se I did them myself. Last time I spoke with him was September of 2022. It’s almost October of 2023. Why won’t someone I trusted to help me get out of this help me?

First things first, do not believe any positive reviews of this lawyer. Mr. Ward is the definition of a crook. I filed for a divorce a few years back. He gave me his personal number instead of his work number, which was odd. He made me feel very uncomfortable. He promised me so much and did not deliv...er. He worried only about money, and my divorce case fell through. I lost my kids and a lot of money dealing with Mr. Ward. A legal aide would have been more professional than working with him. Please, do not hire this lawyer!

I filed divorce about almost 1 year ago and still it is not finalized. He is not helping me with anything regarding calling the court and find out the status of divorce. If anything is wrong with filling of form. He was so careless at documents that he made lots of mistake and I had to be the one to ...fix it for him. Definitely don’t use him as lawyer. I suggest Wangyal Law firm in queens. Divorce takes 3-4 months and will help you til the end.
