Aubrey Ward

If you are in a domestic violence situation and need a lawyer do not use Aubrey. I told him and his legal team my DV marriage situation. He did absolutely nothing to help me and charged me $2500. I am completing the divorce myself because 14 months later his paperwork is wrong and it’s probably becau...se I did them myself. Last time I spoke with him was September of 2022. It’s almost October of 2023. Why won’t someone I trusted to help me get out of this help me?

I am exceedingly grateful for Mr. Ward's representation in my case. He was amazingly kind, patient and honest with me throughout my entire legal process. It was a very difficul time but wathcing the way he dealt with the opposing lawyer and court magistrate was magic. He never waivered in my two-year... cour battle that won me custody of my two sons! Aubrey (and his staff) were nothing short of perfect when handling my credit card debt negotiation for me. He was able to get my lawsuit dismissed and my outstanding debt reduced by a significant percentage after tough negotiations with the opposing attorneys. He met with me, reviewed the lawsuit, an...d gave a thoughtful recommendation on how to proceed. I really respect that he was extremely transparent regarding the costs. Aubrey is a cunning fox. We recently got an illegal lockout case from a family member about a lockout. I reached out to him, explained the case and showed all documents and evidence on about the case that will basically close the case. A single paper from our building management stating that we have ...not changed our locks. I sat down with Aubrey and communicated with him via text on providing the evidence. I paid $750 for 30 mins of his time just to show the evidence and close this case for my mothers health. When we got to court, instead of presenting the evidence as we talked about, Aubrey decided to act on his own by dismissing the case to the judge without prejudice instead of showing the evidence to we spoke about to CLOSE THE CASE. By dismissing it, he basically prolonged the case where it was filed again. I confronted him about what he did and why he did it. His response was "You did not tell me to do that. I did what an attorney would do." After saying that, he said to me that he does not want the second case which was sent to me after his idiotic decision on the first one. Be very, very, VERY careful with him because once you pay him he suddenly starts getting busy and unable to talk to you about a problem he started. He is not very transparent with his intention about any case, waste valuable time, not professional or care about clients personal stress and issues that are occurring because of a simple cause that could've been resolved by just SHOWING THE EVIDENCE. I do NOT recommend him to anyone. He is in for the money and doesn't care about the issues his clients are going through. DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT use Aubrey. There is a reason his office is always empty. There is also a reason why he always wants to schedule a time with you for a case toward the end of the day, or constantly tell you that he is busy even when the office is open and there is no one there. I do NOT recommend Aubrey Ward to anyone. The guy is a crook.
