I struggle to put into words how grateful I am to have had Rosa as my 13 year old's attorney. His father has been absent for most of his life and all of a sudden wanted me to put my child on a plane and send him to Florida, where he lives. My son's father never wanted to be a father and only spoke t...o my child maybe once a year. We had a previous visitation agreement that allowed him to come and see my son many times a year. Unfortunately he didn't. Rosa was a complete Godsend for my baby. She listened to every word he said and was ready and adamant to make sure my child's voice was heard. She was also always there when I was worried to take my call and just talk to me. In the end it all worked out and something clicked with my son's dad and he finally understood that he needs to build a relationship with my son first and at a pace that was comfortable for my boy. Rosa made sure that was crystal clear to my baby's father, his lawyer, and the judge. Going through the courts for visitation is never fun! However, if this court case didn't happen and me and my son didn't have Rosa, my son wouldn't have had a voice and most importantly, his father and I would have never been able to mend what was so broken. What Rosa did for us is nothing short of amazing. My child's life is now better and happier because of her… and I can NEVER thank her enough for that! I feel so free and relieved, as if a heavy weight has been lifted off my shoulders. In my custody matter, I almost had to go to trial. I was ready and confident that we would win.
