Alexander Zhik is a superior attorney. My 19 year-old son - who frequently acts as a child would, but is an adult in the eyes of the law - was arrested late in the evening two months ago. I didn't get a call from my son until 1am, when he told me he would be kept at the police station (in Manhattan)... overnight and would be taken to a courthouse at 7am. I did research on the internet, looking for an experienced criminal attorney with a good reputation. I learned about Alex Zhik and called his office at about 5am. Within two hours, I had spoken to Alex Zhik about my son's situation and signed a retainer. My son ended up being brought in front of the judge in the morning, and Alex strode in and introduced himself to my son and told the judge he was my son's attorney. The charges against my son - for disorderly conduct and carrying a small knife - were dismissed THAT DAY. Alex guided us through the process of making the dismissal official - which involved my son's taking a class - and Alex went to court last week to begin the process of getting the arrest expunged from my son's record.
