Stephen Tuttle

Stephen Tuttle has a comprehensive real estate law background, providing legal and strategic advice for all types of residential and commercial real estate transactions. He has handled transactions ranging from single-family residential home sales to the financings, acquisitions, dispositions, and development on major transactions involving commercial, retail, hotel, office, multi-dwelling residential and mixed-use real estate projects. Mr. Tuttle has counseled clients acquiring, disposing, developing and /or owning and operating real property, including sale-leaseback transactions and the purchase and sales of businesses. Many of these matters involved the sale or purchase of multiple sites located in numerous jurisdictions.

He has also represented both lenders and borrowers in secured financings and loan restructurings for portfolio lenders, including life insurance companies, banks and REITs. His experience spans the origination and work-out of mortgage and mezzanine lending for portfolio lenders, including life insurance companies and banks, as well as for securitized CMBS-lenders and their special servicers. Mr. Tuttle also advises on matters related to loan participations and intercreditor agreements, structured financing, loan servicing, work-outs, foreclosures and property management.

Mr. Tuttle is a graduate of Syracuse University College of Law and graduate of Franklin and Marshall College. He is a member of the Real Property Law Section of the New York Bar Association and the Association of Corporate Counsel. He has lectured and participated on numerous panels on real estate related topics. He was elected as a Fellow of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys in 1997.
