Mark Holtzer is an outstanding professional attorney and an exceptionally caring individual, who is highly skilled and devoted to helping his clients. When I was going through my divorce, I did a lot of research on attorneys, and I encountered a lot of difficulty getting recommendations on which ...I could rely. I have met with various attorneys, which in itself is emotionally taxing, draining and costly. I retained another attorney to deal with my divorce, but proceedings dragged out in court for close to a year. Anyone that has been through this can attest to how painful and draining this can be. An individual who knew about the complexity of my case, recommended that I retain Mark Holtzer to represent me. I did, and it was the best choice I made. To Mr. Holtzer's credit, about a month after I retained him, the case was settled! Not only that, I was extremely happy with the divorce agreement terms. It's interesting to note that my ex-husband's lawyer, who has a very aggressive reputation, admitted to me more than once, "This case has been settled only due to Mark Holtzer." In addition to Mr. Holtzer being very knowledgeable in law, he is highly regarded by judges and attorneys. He is unusually caring and devoted, and goes above and beyond the call of duty to help his clients. Suffice it to say, I was astounded to what extent he extended himself in order to have my case resolved as efficiently and as quickly as possible, and with such incredible results for myself and young child, that it left me indescribably grateful. Unlike other attorneys, Mark Holtzer makes himself available at the oddest hours and even on off-days just to help his clients in need - because he truly cares. Such rare individuals like Mark Holtzer are few and far between in this day and age. He listened patiently and compassionately to all the details of my case and then very cleverly strategized accordingly. He did an incredible job. Remarkably, my case was settled on July 4th. He so kindly wouldn't even consider prolonging my case even by one day due to the legal holiday, because that is Mark Holtzer. A genuinely incredible lawyer. Mark Holtzer has been my attorney for 14 years and has done an outstanding job. He has successfully guided me through a divorce, visitation, and ultimately a custody change as well. He is very skilled, knows the law, and has extensive divorce/custody litigation experience, whether by mediation ...or trial. Lots of people seem to want their attorney to burn down the whole town and this is a mistake. You want someone (or at least I do) who is professional and knows how to win. These are not two mutually exclusive ideas. So if you want someone who will burn through your money and your (ex) spouse's money, just for spite, and then settle the case, you should look elsewhere. But if you want someone who possesses excellent tactical and strategic ability, both in and out of the courtroom, who always likes to keep his options open, and makes decisions based on data and not emotion, then Mark would be an excellent choice.
