Asia Scarlett-Jones founded the ASJ Law Office in New York City, New York, to provide a more intimate representation to clients during their most vulnerable and uncertain times in life. She serves clients throughout the city, helping them with matters related to:

Mrs. Scarlett-Jones began her career as a staff attorney at the Legal Aid of Nassau County, serving as a public defender in visitation, custody and child support cases. Later, she held the position of senior court attorney at Nassau County Family Court, where she drafted decisions and orders pertaining to child custody and visitation matters. Throughout her tenure, she has aided numerous families in settling their cases.

Having experience as both a litigator and a court attorney, Mrs. Scarlett-Jones understands that not all cases need to go to trial, and settling cases can lead to healthier outcomes for families. She has worked in both the public defender and private sector, representing clients from diverse backgrounds in various cases, ranging from contentious divorces to joyful adoptions. With a deep understanding of the court system, she utilizes her vast knowledge and strategic approaches to serve the unique needs of her clients.

Mrs. Scarlett-Jones earned her B.A. in political science and government from the University at Albany, and her law degree from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University.
