William Michael Brown Jr.

Attorney William Brown Jr. is a dedicated champion of justice for those seeking the help they deserve. As a former Assistant U.S. Attorney and retired U.S. Marine Corps Judge Advocate, he brings a wealth of experience and discipline to his role representing injury victims in Connecticut. He is passionate about helping individuals rebuild their lives after being harmed by the negligence of others, and believes in the importance of teamwork to deliver the best possible results for his clients.

Before joining Carter Mario Law Firm, Attorney Brown served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Connecticut, where he gained extensive litigation experience handling complex cases. His legal career also includes years of honorable service as a Judge Advocate in the United States Marine Corps.

Attorney Brown earned his J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law and his B.A. from Eastern Connecticut State University, where he also played basketball. He also earned his LL.M. in Litigation and Dispute Resolution from George Washington University Law School, further deepening his expertise in trial and dispute resolution work. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to public service, volunteering his time with veterans’ organizations and restorative justice initiatives.

His professional excellence has been recognized through multiple awards, including the Bronze Star Medal (2005) for his performance while deployed to Iraq, the Outstanding Litigation Team Award from the U.S. Department of Justice (2010), and the Excellence in Civil Rights Award from the U.S. Department of Justice (2022 and 2023).

Outside of the office, Attorney Brown enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to all kinds of music, and reading nonfiction books and biographies.
