Lana Leah Pelletier McCrea

I am absolutely delighted with my work with Lana, who proved to be an excellent and supportive (&c., &c.) attorney from Mobilization for Justice. Indeed, I never imagined I'd be so fortunate to have an indubitable advocate for clients with disabilities (of which I have multiple) but she proved me wro...ng. Her time with my mother and me, prior to her need to be on maternity leave, proved to us the importance of attorneys like her. She is a lovely person and a credit to her profession!

My ability to have support from the legal provider ms McCrae is employed by has been thwarted by her inability to understand the "bigger picture" in a complicated landlord-tenant situation. The providers can pick choose, just like the landords, and Ms. McCrae uses her rank and power to dismiss someo...ne who really needs the support, because she doesn't understand the complexity- or she simply doesn't care. This is not someone who should be working for an org that alleges to support people with mental health disabilities. Funny that Ms McCrae, through this MFJ program took the case of a litigant in a similar situation who only recently dismissed their private attorney. Strange that. and very prejudicial to someone who is in a horrible situation becaus ethey do not have the resources. It reminds me of a hostile private attorney who made it very clear they don't like poor people. welcome to NYC! Congratualtions Ms Mcrae! you have become the very thing you allege to be fighting!
