Claire Frances Rush

Claire Rush is a founding member of Rush & Sabbatino, PLLC an AV rated, wholly female owned civil litigation firm specializing in the defense of significant personal injury actions and construction related claims.

Ms. Rush has tried more than 100 jury cases to verdict in New York State. She has over 25 years experience defending private and public entities against bus, truck, auto, railway, premises, construction, elevator and escalator accident cases. She has particular expertize in the defense of environmental, security, police and 42 U.S.C. §1983 actions. In addition to trying cases Ms. Rush has mediated catastrophic injury actions and handled complex claims from inception through trial.

Ms. Rush began her carrer at the MTA /NYCTA in 1984 where she tried over 75 personal injury and wrongful death actions to verdict. During her tenure at the MTA Ms. Rush was a supervisor in the Bronx Trial Unit and the Chief of the Major Case Unit in New York County. In addition to her work as a trial attorney she briefed and argued cases in the First and Second Departments.

In 2001 Ms. Rush joined Russo, Keane and Toner, LLP where she defended general liability matters including premises, auto, construction, mold and lead paint claims. Ms. Rush tried 23 cases to verdict while a partner at RKT. Ms Rush left her partnership at RKT in 2011 to join with Francesca Sabbatino to form Rush & Sabbationo, PLLC.
