Andrew Paul Lederman

Andrew P. Lederman is an experienced and highly seasoned attorney who regularly represents both publicly and privately held companies experiencing financial difficulties.  Over the course of his 30 year legal career, Andrew has assisted companies in navigating the unsure waters of financial uncertainty.  He has successfully led them through Chapter 11 reorganizations as well as out of court workouts.

In addition to his representation of debtors, Andrew regularly represents secured and unsecured creditors, purchasers of distressed assets in bankruptcy proceedings, landlords, and other parties in interest in connection with reorganizations throughout the United States.  He has also been involved in numerous litigations pending before Bankruptcy Courts in various jurisdictions.  By working closely with each client, Andrew is able to identify the issues and construct a plan tailored to the clients’ specific needs and obtain successful outcomes on a regular basis.

Andrew has appeared in Bankruptcy Courts on behalf of both debtors and creditors in the telecommunications, real estate, manufacturing, financial, apparel, and energy fields, among others.  He has also represented buyers of assets from Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 debtors.

In addition to his representations in the bankruptcy field, Andrew regularly represents middle market companies as their general outside counsel for both their corporate and commercial litigation matters.

Andrew is a member of the American Bar Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute.  Prior to joining Wilk Auslander, Andrew has held positions in a number of prestigious New York law firms and has also been the head of his own practice.
