Before joining Sherman Atlas, Alison honed her legal acumen at several prominent firms. She began her career as a litigation associate at Hahn & Hessen LLP, representing financial institutions and corporate trustees in commercial disputes and fiduciary litigation. She later became a partner at the Law Offices of Raymond V.J. Schrag, a boutique trusts and estates firm in New York City, where she deepened her experience in estate planning and Surrogate’s Court matters.

Alison’s practice extends beyond estate planning to estate and trust litigation, where she brings extensive experience in Surrogate’s Court proceedings. She represents executors, trustees, beneficiaries, and distributees in probate and administration matters, contested accountings, and kinship proceedings. Outside of her professional life, Alison is deeply committed to community service. She has volunteered as a rape crisis counselor at Bellevue and NYU hospitals and continues to support local food pantries and coat drives across New York City. Alison resides in Manhattan with her husband and two sons and enjoys traveling, hiking, running, and giving back to her community.
