I received a speeding ticket that would have placed points on my record in addition to a fine. I was referred by a family friend who also happens to be an attorney. I consequently forgot i had court i was able to obtain his services the morning of the case and he beat the case NO POINTS NO FINE!!! w...ill recommend to everyone i know!

I received a ticket in Manhattan early last year, which would have given me points, a fine and increase in insurance premium. West Rapoport was able to get my ticket dismissed. I did my research and spoke to a few traffic attorneys prior to hiring West Rapoport. I am an attorney myself, but my practice was corporate; I know absolutely nothing about traffic court. Mr. Rapoport was recommended to me by a good friend, and I am forever grateful that I retained Mr. Rapoport to represent me on the first traffic ticket that I have ever received. He is extremely ...bright, very articulate, and clearly is experienced in dealing with the judges and the police officers in traffic court. From this experience I could see that it's an art form, dealing with the traffic court system. I insisted on being there with the attorney on the court date, which proved to be totally unnecessary since Mr. Rapoport explained to the judge why I should not be held to be at fault, and the judge immediately announced "Benefit of the doubt to the driver" and I received no points and no fine. Huge weight off my mind, since apparently one's car insurance rates can go up by 20% and be held there for 3 years if you are given "points" on your license in NY State.
