We used Bob to get our liquor license. He was great, very professional. We did a lot of research and I am so glad that we found him. He made the process smooth, everything was done so quickly. We have already recommended him to some friends.

A job very well done.

On short notice, I, along with two other local retailers, hired Bob to represent our interests in opposition to a new application. With his expertise and experience in the licensing process from both perspectives, Bob researched our situation, found data to support our opposition, and presented a ca...se that resulted in a favorable outcome for the existing retailers. He worked hard -- and most importantly, successfully -- on our case on short notice. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

It doesn't get any better than Bob Romano!!

Another attorney referred Bob Romano to me for help obtaining a liquor license. Because of the business I was in, getting the license was far from guaranteed. I can't say enough good things about working with Bob. He is straight-forward, honest, available, organized, fair and knows the liquor licensi...ng process backwards and forwards. He kept me appraised of our progress the whole way though and was honest about any possible road bumps. He said that he has never failed to procure a liquor license for one of his clients and I believe it! We were a fairly high maintenance proposal and he handled everything efficiently and made it look easy. I can't imagine we would have gotten our license if I had chosen another attorney. Bob was an absolute pleasure to work with and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Knowledge – Responsiveness – Advocate - Partner

Mr. Romano is an incredibly knowledgeable, responsive and proactive straight shooter. Bob helped me through a sticky lease situation for a Liquor Store and brought swift conclusions with outstanding results. Bob is down to earth and has an amazing ability to translate complicated legal situations t...o a level that not only could I understand but ultimately benefit from greatly. When seeking an Attorney to obtain your Liquor License, there is simply NO ONE better to have in your corner. He’s your Attorney and your Partner and will navigate you through the astoundingly complicated task of obtaining your license.

Review for Robert Romano NYSLA

Mr. Romano (Bob), helped us thoroughly in obtaining a NYS Liquor Permit. He walked us through the process, which in our case included some extra details. He was hard working, and a pleasure to work with. He is a true professional who is dedicated to his clients. I would recommend him without any re...servations. My business partners and I felt as if Bob focused all of his attention on our case, and for people who don't know the particulars of this application, it put us at ease. Thank you.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
