A job very well done.

On short notice, I, along with two other local retailers, hired Bob to represent our interests in opposition to a new application. With his expertise and experience in the licensing process from both perspectives, Bob researched our situation, found data to support our opposition, and presented a ca...se that resulted in a favorable outcome for the existing retailers. He worked hard -- and most importantly, successfully -- on our case on short notice. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

We Hired Robert Romano to assist us in getting our liquor license. He was very helpful and well versed on topics relating to the liquor authority requirements. Mr. Romano drove six hours to meet us in person. At the hearing, Robert remembered all of the little things that we talked about and used ...that information to personalize our request for a liquor license. We were attending the hearing on video from Buffalo and were very nervous at the beginning of the trial but those feelings went away when we saw Robert facing the commissioner and deputy. Mr. Robert Romano did exactly what we needed him to do, we were approved. We are going to maintain our relationship with him for any future assistance as we begin our journey in the retail liquor industry. Thanks.

Best SLA advocate

Mr. Romano was our leader in dealing with the New York State Liquor Authority. He expedited and paved the way for a very smooth application process that was expeditiously approved. IsleView Fine Wines and Spirits heartily endorses Mr. Romano for all of your dealings with the SLA!!! Great work Bob!...!

It doesn't get any better than Bob Romano!!

Another attorney referred Bob Romano to me for help obtaining a liquor license. Because of the business I was in, getting the license was far from guaranteed. I can't say enough good things about working with Bob. He is straight-forward, honest, available, organized, fair and knows the liquor licensi...ng process backwards and forwards. He kept me appraised of our progress the whole way though and was honest about any possible road bumps. He said that he has never failed to procure a liquor license for one of his clients and I believe it! We were a fairly high maintenance proposal and he handled everything efficiently and made it look easy. I can't imagine we would have gotten our license if I had chosen another attorney. Bob was an absolute pleasure to work with and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Couldn't have done it without him!

Bobs responsiveness, attention to detail, and knowledge set him apart from the rest. He not only handled my liquor license with ease but got me the best deal possible with my Fortune 500 landlord. Lease negotiations went off without a hitch thanks to his expertise. I truly couldn't have done it witho...ut him.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
