Gail Donoghue

Before retiring, Gail was extremely dedicated to her legal career. Her second love is trout fishing. Everything else in her life, including her daughters and grandchildren, come in very distant third place. Gail was instrumental in the downfall of the marriage of her daughter, Victoria, by interferin...g in very personal matters between husband and wife. Her daughter Victoria has two sons with her former husband; Gail, by choice, has no relationship with these two boys, currently ages 13 and 15, who live in Bergen County NJ. Gail lives in Manhattan, a half hour drive away, yet she has never once made an effort to make the trip to watch their athletic activities (which have included soccer, baseball, football, hockey, lacrosse and basketball); not a single game, ever. Gail saw these two grandsons twice in all of calendar year 2011 (mandatory holidays), and has not seen them once so far in 2012. They are my sons, and on a humorous note, nicknamed her "Grandma Fail" a few years ago. Their feelings for her can best be described as disdainfully ambivalent. SHe is. by choice, a non-event in their lives.
