SUSAN MOSS IS CRUEL, BARBARIC, INHUMANE—RUN AND DO NOT LOOK BACK

I am writing this review based on the alarming conduct documented in the real where Sue Moss was appointed as Attorney for the Children. Those considering the services of Sue Moss should be aware of serious allegations regarding her professional integrity and advocacy such as: Fabrication of "O...ral Orders": In this case, Ms. Moss reportedly asserted the existence of unverified "Oral Orders" that were neither recorded nor stated in open court. These alleged orders were used to strip a mother of her parental rights and mandate supervised visits at an astronomical cost. Defiance of Judicial Mandates: Documents indicate she ignored protocols established by the presiding judge and replaced qualified, court-appointed experts—who specialized in identifying parental alienation—with inexperienced social workers to influence the court’s direction. Failure of Due Diligence: Despite extensive reports from experts identifying dynamics of coercive control and domestic violence, Ms. Moss is accused of failing to perform necessary due diligence, choosing instead to facilitate a "personal vendetta" that obstructed all contact between the children and their loving and innocent mother for years. Medical Neglect: Concerns were raised regarding her failure to advocate for a child's health when informed of worsening conditions and withheld medical records. Susan Moss is a personification of moral degradation and a betrayal of the best interests of the children she was appointed to represent and protect. Having Sue Moss in your case is a stamp of guaranteed inhumane and barbaric tactics, no matter whose side she is on. There is only one side for Ms.Moss — her side. The side no one, believe me, wants to be on, no matter who she represents.

Bad Advice, Watch your Pocketbook!

I hired Susan Moss together with her associate a few years ago to negotiate my divorce agreement including custody for our child and other matters. Had I known how weak the rules were that I and my (ex-)wife agreed on I would never have agreed to such a contract. But I wasn't warned by my attorneys...... My ex-wife has since violated our agreement continuously and -amazingly- I effectively can do nothing against her deliberate and completely arbitrary breaches of contract. I went to court recently to get an order against my wife on some of the most clear and basic rules of our agreement (minimum time per day my daughter gets with her father), I got this order and still the carry the costs (around $10.000) for my attorneys which I was allowed to hire in accordance with our agrement (and which my ex-wife is supposed to pay under these circumstances according to our agreement). In court Susan wasn't up to date with some of the current developments, email communication etc. and often didn't know certain rules we had negotiated in our agreement (which was a central part of my most recent law suit against my ex-wife). Good luck with this attorney!

This was not my client. I have never worked even worked on a divorce case. I believe this reviewer intended to post the review on a different attorney's Avvo profile.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
