I retained Mr. Sladkus concerning 2 cases. He delegated a portion of the work to a colleague, as I would expect in a large firm, with depth as opposed to a solo practitioner. He was intricately involved in overseeing a difficult residential lease issue with an abusive landlord. Including legal fees ...he saved me a substantial sum. He won a very complex, non real estate matter involving 6 million dollars in New York State Supreme Court, and truth be known, he saved me. Mr. Sladkus was instrumental in winning our condo a very large settlement with a difficult and well funded developer. He was tenacious and his billings were fair, we received an excellent ROI with him and if we ever were to need a real estate lawyer in the future, there would be unanimous consent wit...h the board that he should be retained.

I am a board president of a large manhattan building constructed in 2008. Our building had major repair problems and urned to Mr. Sladkus for assistance. Mr. Sladkus is a great sales man but the attorneys in the firm for some reason do not work on cases together. He just did not have the time to wo...rk on my case. The papers presented to the court were sub par and our adversary creamed Sladkus both in the papers and in the court room. Mr. Sladkus did not have the respect of the judge like the other attorney and he not have time to really research the law while the other side was creative, on point and won on every count.

Stereotypically money driven, with little regard for much else. Used him for a fairly large case (non-litigation) and he did not do much personal work (if any) for the money, got few results, and changed his tune when it was apparent there would be no lawsuit. At first said he would work contingency..., then said not, even though I had a "good case." Now is unresponsive. Unprofessional and just plain disrespectful.
