Scott Andrew Lavin

We had a consultation with Mr. Lavin about estate planning. He followed up with an email with documents that were not tailored to our needs and that we didn't ask for. He billed us for 3 hours that he claimed to have spent on these documents that he later admitted by email that they were from previ...ous engagements that he had altered with our names. He apologized in the email and said he would revise the bill, which he still hasn't 3 years later. More importantly, his blanket statements and recommendations in our initial meeting were definitely not applicable to us and would have cost us dearly in taxes. I would not recommend him in any circumstance.
