Biography
Nina S. Epstein focuses her legal practice on matrimonial and family law, and dissolution. She is also a member of the Guardianships Panel in Supreme and Surrogate's Court. She is currently a Partner at Goldweber Epstein LLP, a law firm she co-founded with Elyse S. Goldweber in 1995.
Known for her child advocacy skills, Nina has been appointed a Certified Attorney for the Children residing in Manhattan. She recently served on the Matrimonial Committee of the Association of the Bar of the city of New York (2008 - 2011).
Dedicated to criminal defense projects as the Attorney in Charge of the Criminal Division in Manhattan from 1990 to 1995, she served with the Legal Aid Society for the New York County Criminal Defense Division from 1989 to 1995. From 1990 to 1995, she held the role of Committee Chair of the Criminal Justice Section on the New York County Lawyers Association. As a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, she served on the Criminal Advocacy Committee in 1995.
As a family advocate, she serves on the New York State Bar Association's section on Family Law. She also serves on the Women’s Bar Association, where she is a valued member of the Family Law Committee.
