I was put in a difficult situation when I was fired in July 2022. Being a member of a Union for 36 years you would think they would do all they could to help me. That wasn't the case, Mr. Hilferty helped me jazz up a letter to my Union on his own time to see if this would get them to acknowledge my r...ights and their responsibilities for representing me. It didn't work. After contacting him and stating I wanted to sign a retainer and have his law firm represent me, he offered to help me file a complaint with the NLRB and do a weekly phone consultation at no expense to me. I believe Mr. Hilferty to be a straight shooter and a man of integrity. That is why I hired his firm to help me to get my Union to do the right thing. Because of the professionalism of Mr. Hilferty and his staff and the beautifully written letter that was sent to my Union, I'm finally going to arbitration and know the path would have been so much more difficult without them in my corner. COVID has caused significant uncertainty & angst globally. When it came time to have to separate from my employer much, much sooner than I ever would have wanted to.
