Matthew Crawford

Matthew Crawford completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri – Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and minor in History. He went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from New York Law School with a focus in intellectual property issues in the practice of law. Matthew is admitted to practice law in New York and Missouri.

During law school, Matthew was heavily involved with both the Center for Information Law & Policy and the Unemployment Action Center. As a law student, he volunteered his time to assist New Yorkers with unemployment insurance claims and helped to present their cases before an Administrative Law Judge. Matthew interned with the Law Office of Murray Richman in the Bronx, helping Mr. Richman with trial preparation and client matters as it related to his Criminal Defense firm. Matthew also held a competitive internship at Konami Digital Entertainment in Los Angeles, California. During his internship, he worked directly with the Senior Vice President of Legal Affairs on matters of human resources guidance, litigation strategy, copyright notice, and company campaigns.

Following admission to the Missouri Bar, Matthew performed general practice and litigation for clients in and around the St. Louis area. His work focused on complex commercial transactions as well as environmental litigation. In the fall of 2016, Matthew moved his practice to New York to begin helping clients in the Greater New York area.

Matthew is currently an Employment Associate with Mr. White and assisting clients with employment and labor disputes.
