Paris Gyparakis

Mr. Gyparakis is an associate at Porzio, Bromberg & Newman, P.C. and focuses his practice on corporate restructuring and other insolvency matters, and assists with the representation of Chapter 11 debtors, creditors, distressed companies and other parties in interest.

He received his J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where he served as the Monica Gollub Endowed Academic Scholar, as well as the Senior Research Editor for the Journal of International Business and Law and was the recipient of the Benjamin Weintraub and Alan N. Resnick Bankruptcy Law Award, demonstrating outstanding academic performance in and a desire to make future contributions to the field of bankruptcy law.

Prior to law school, Paris studied Classical Literature and Psychology at The Ohio State University and was a post-baccalaureate scholar at the University of Athens, School of Philosophy.
