Stewart J. Kong

Mr. Kong is a good lawyer and I am surprised that there are several negative reviews on this site. My experience with Mr. Kong has been great on several tough cases. I am a business man, with assets in real estate and contracts in restaurants. Mr. Kong also helped me and my business with immig...ration filings. Not every lawyer is right for every client, but Mr. Kong is right for me. Mr. Kong charges a premium, but he always gives me a discount as well! Still expensive but worth the advise and help he has given me on the sales and purchases of my real estate investments. I recommend him highly.

Hired him for an office closing several years ago. At the time, we just didn't know any better. Now we do. He spoke to us very minimally, and in between his constant gum-chewing, managed to answer most of our questions with "well, there's nothing we can do about that...." Now we're being slapp...ed with a late penalty from the Dept of Finance because the transfer tax was filed 3 months LATE. Our current attorney says that it was the Title Company's responsibility to file it on time...and guess who chooses the Title Company?....yup, our wonderful attorney Mr. Kong....

I hired Stewart for a Visa application. Over the two year process ( I was quoted a 6 month time frame) he coerced money from me, ignored my emails, failed to provide proper information to me in a timely and professional matter. He had told me upon consultation that he had never lost a case, my case w...as denied. My experience with him was a complete waste of time and money. DO NOT hire him for ANY kind of legal advice. Just walk away.

I used Stewart J. Kong to represent me for a home purchase and it was the worst experience. He did not file the correct paperwork and the deed to my house was never recorded in my name. Mr. Kong did not help me when I informed him about this problem. I had to hire and pay another lawyer and took me y...ears to transfer the deed to my name.
